Happy 17 months Kaleb!

I can't believe my little boy is 17 months old! He is growing up so fast and learning new things everyday! This past Sunday we took him to nursery to try and get him use to it and see if he would transition into it smoothly. Well, they ended up letting us leave him the whole time and Kaleb absolutely loved it and had no problem being without us! It was bittersweet since it was nice not having to fight with him all threw church, but I did miss him. When we went to pick him up he was so happy and excited about his time in nursery. They said he was great and would love to see him next week! Yeah! The only down fall is that we have Sacrament last and he was so excited that we had a hard time keeping him reverent. He enjoyed screaming and talking all threw Sacrament meeting hopefully the excitement will wear off as it just becomes the routine of church to go to nursery! We are so grateful that Kaleb is able to go to nursery a month early so that I can start enjoying my meetings more now and actually start getting something out of the lessons! We sure love having Kaleb in our lives and couldn't imagine our lives without him. He is such a loving boy and even when he is being a 1 yr old he still amazes me at how he will notice that I might be having a rough moment and climb up into my lap and just cuddle with me or give me kisses!

Some of the things Kaleb is doing right now:
  • trying to jump which is the cutest thing to watch!
  • says what a dog, cow, cat, fish(my favorite), horse, duck say!
  • gives high 5's and pounds it a.k.a give knuckles!
  • Folds his arms when we pray or randomly through the day!
  • sleeping in his big boy bed for nap and bedtime
  • loves singing songs especially the wheels on the bus and even does some of the actions with it.
  • He loves reading books with us at bedtime!
  • He still has his favorite blanket that he sleeps with or just carries around the house!
  • He is trying to talk more! He still calls me Da and also calls grandma Da! he tries to say Stephen in fact he stands at the top of the stairs and yells down to Stephen! He is saying his B's a lot better we are working on getting him to use his words when he wants something.
  • He went pee in the potty before his bath, we are going to keep trying to put him on it before bath time and see what happens! He has started taking showers and has been enjoying them!
  • He is better about holding our hands when we need him too!
  • Kaleb loves to give my belly kisses and raspberries! Not sure if he completely understands the concept of the baby yet!
  • is very active boy and is developing such a great personality he still loves to dance he gets this look on his face when he hears music and then will start grooving! he loves to laugh!
We love you monkey so much and love having you in our family! You are such a sweet and busy boy!

And the winner is ME!!!

So when we first found out I was pregnant, Tim and I took a bet of what we each thought the sex would be. Well at toady's ultrasound my amniotic fluid was at a much better level and we could tell what we were having! It is...A BOY! So, since Tim thought the baby was going to be a girl and I thought that the baby was going to be a boy, I WON!!! We're both very excited to have another boy so Kaleb and him can be best buds! Now we just have to agree on a name for him!

Fun Filled July...

Silly Boy!

Well we have had a very fun July. Mom and I got up early to get seats for the Bountiful Parade that was on the 23rd. We couldn't find any places in the shade so we ended up being in the sun, but it wasn't too bad. The parade wasn't as good as it usually is but we still had lots of fun. Kaleb loved the bands and all the candy that was thrown. Later that night we went and watched Mueller Parks fireworks from Baskin Robins so we didn't have to deal with all the crowds. Kaleb enjoyed watching them but enjoyed playing with Milo and running with all the other kids more! On the 24th we went over to Paul's Brothers where they did more fireworks! Kaleb loved doing the sparklers but didn't like the noises the fireworks sometimes made. It was lots of fun though! Before we left just about everyone started having a water fight. Luckily I left dry but as for Tim and mom they were not so lucky! All in all we have had some great fun this month!

The Boys

Kaleb is growing and talking more everyday! He has started saying "mine" which sounds more like momma but still he refuses to call me momma instead I am DA! He also has just started folding his arms when we pray it is the cutest thing! He can also tell you where his nose, eyes and belly are! I can't believe how grown up he is getting. Kaleb is also know sleeping in a BIG BOY bed. He sometimes will cry but he stays in the bed. The only down fall is he keeps waking up earlier every morning, at least it seems like. But we love that he is out of his crib before the new baby gets here! One of Kaleb's favorite things to do is stand in the refrigerator. So anytime it opens we have to fight with him to get it closed! He also loves to throw the basketball in the hoop. He would do this all day long if Tim's arms would allow it! He loves to also be with his Uncle Stephen and cousin Milo! He is my little mommas boy but loves to give kisses and hugs!
In the Fridge!

Update on my pregnancy we went to the DR's Monday and got to hear the babies heartbeat. Which sounded great and then she had us come back the next day to have an ultrasound. We couldn't tell what it is because it was sitting like a frog and my amniotic fluid is low. We have to go back this coming Tuesday to check the levels and hopefully see what this little thing is! Everything else looked really good just low fluid so I am drinking water all day long and peeing a whole lot!

Dancing Boy!!!!

Kaleb is our little dancer, anytime there is any music on the TV, radio or even a phone he will start grooving to the music. It is the cutest thing! We having been trying for quite a while to get his moves on video but he always stops when we get the camera. Well Aunt Kim finally was able to capture this cute video of him dancing! I must say my little white boy has some good rhythm and can really shake those hips!

4th of July

Best Buds!( I love this picture)

Kaleb trying to go get the Cows!

Well we left Cincinnati things just weren't going all that well so we decided to come back to Utah. Tim called his old boss to see if he had a job available for Tim it turned out he had just fired a manager and told Tim he could have the position which was at the Gateway Mall which Tim had wanted to be transfered there before we left for Ohio. So we arrived back to Utah on the 1st. We are staying with my mom for right now since Kim is in our apartment and they weren't planning on having to find a place until the end of Aug so we are just taking the time to get back on our feet a little. We are grateful we went to Ohio Tim learned a lot and had some great experiences but we are glad to be back. We missed our friends and family! Kaleb had loved being back with everyone especially being able to play with one of his favorite cousins Milo! So anyways Robyn and Robbie invited us to go up to Bear Lake for the 4th, where Robbie's parents have a cabin in Bloomington, Idaho(if you would call it that, It is more like a house), Tim had to work so Kaleb and I went up with my mom and Milo for Friday and came home Saturday. It was tons of fun they have 4cows that we got to feed although they wouldn't come too close. Kaleb loved them he called them dogs the whole time. We also got to enjoy the 4 wheelers it was mine and Kalebs first time he wasn't so sure of them until after I went for a long ride and came back did he let me take him for a little ride. Saturday we went into Paris for there 4th of July parade which they go down one side of the street and then up the other so if you miss anything you get a second chance to see. We ended up with 2 bags of candy! We had lots of fun and can't wait to go back with Tim the next time! Thanks Robyn and Robbie for letting us come!

Fun In Ohio...

It has been too long since we updated. I am very sorry we have not gotten internet yet so my sister Sarah told me an easier way to do since the only internet is at the clubhouse and you can’t be on the computers very long. Anyways we are doing great and enjoying the new place! You are probably wondering what we have been up to well one of our friends from the singles ward in Chicago got married the last weekend in May so being so close I really wanted to go, so Tim was very kind and let me go for the week and My friend Rachel also was very kind and picked me up half way and let me stay with her for the week. It was so fun being back there I didn’t do much but Wednesday Jillian another friend came and we had a blast it was like the good old days only with a little boy to have to tend to! Thursday Jillian to Kaleb and me to the Science and Industry Museum in downtown Chicago (I forgot to bring my camera sorry) Kaleb loved it they had tractors and plastic animals and his favorite part probably was the section where they have chicks hatch daily behind a glass case but Kaleb loved seeing the little chicks! Friday we helped set up for the wedding reception and then went home for a girl’s night of pizza and relaxing! Saturday was the wedding which I was able to go to the sealing it was wonderful our old bishop from the singles ward was the sealer. After the sealing we all went to On the Border it is one of my favorite restaurants I wish we had one in Utah it is the best Mexican food ever! Then we just relaxed until it was time for the reception. The reception was great since Susan is a big dancer there of course was great dancing it was so fun to dance again I only wished Tim had been there so I could have danced more! I also got to see the Gillespie’s (the family I was the nanny for) the girls have all grown up but it was so fun to see them. Kaleb loved them of course and they danced with him which I am sure he loved! It was sad to leave but good to be back with Tim! I sure love Chicago!
Memorial weekend the pool opened so every chance it is warm enough we venture to the pool Kaleb likes it but for the most part we sit on the steps of the pool and Kaleb throws the balls in the water. He has taken a couple nose dives that have scared me and he has tried to just jump in a few times without us in the pool I wish he was a little more scared of the water so I wouldn’t have to worry so much! The pool is not heated so it is a little cold but once you get use to it is nice and refreshing I am hoping it does warm a little as the weather gets hotter! Although we have been told that June is Cincinnati’s rainy month which it has been quit rainy we have heard a few tornado warnings and had hail but no sightings in the town we are in but I was sure to ask Tim what I should do just in case!

We have been back to the dog Park, which is called Wiggly Field, Kaleb loves to go the last time we went he got ran over a couple times but after some loves from me he was off to playing again I did take some pictures this time they aren’t the best but what can you expect from dogs! This last time we went there was this pug that was there and it was so funny because the owner and dog looked just like each other, if they come again I will try and take a picture it was so funny! It is weird how some people just resemble their dogs! We love going to the dog park with Bennett, Helina and Blue.

This past Saturday we went to a petting farm that is part of the park district. They have awesome park districts out here with lots of things to do in them. So we went with Bennett, Helina, and Aubrey (the other managers wife) the twins Beck, Dawson, Molly (wife of one of the sales guy) and Angie (friend of the mangers family) it was so fun they had this old barn that was filled with fun things to climb and ball pits and slides. Kaleb of course loved the ball pit and just running around. Then we went and looked at all the animals they had a huge pig, donkeys, horses, goats, lambs and chickens that roamed freely all around. Kaleb wouldn’t pet anything but he liked looking and pointing at everything. They also had pony rides for $2.50 so Kaleb had his first horse ride he loved it. We plan on going back and look forward to it we also found a awesome water park for the kids and Kaleb is free which is awesome and it doesn’t have pools it is just a fun playground with water. So no worrying about Kaleb jumping in without me! We are excited about all the new things we are discovering or that the other wife’s are discovering. The summer is going to go by so fast with so much to do!

Tim is working very hard and is starting to get sales consecutively which is awesome! We are so proud and grateful to him for all that he is doing for us! We love him so much and look forward to Sundays when we get to spend the whole day with him!
Kaleb is doing great! He is getting taller and he has gitten 3 if his molers! He is trying so hard to talk he knows what a bear, duck, dog and a fish say! when it is time to go to bed I say It is night night time and he will say love you it is the cutest thing! He still doesn't say mom but he will say it eventually! He loves to just jabber I wish I knew what he was saying! He is expanding his dancing he doesn't just sway his hips now he puts his hands up and will sometimes spin around I am trying to get a video of it but he is a stink when I get the camera out! He loves to play with his his toy balls and he has to take one With him when he takes his nap and goes to bed for the night! It is crazy how much he is growing up and that he is 14 months it seems like just yesterday we were bringing him home! Some of the not so fun things he is learning to do is hit which we have to tell him to be gentle and then he will pat the spot he hit so hopefully this will pass, he also likes to throw fits when he doesn't get his way sometimes it goes to the extreme of him throwing himself on the ground although he usually only does this at home! We still love him and he is always doing something to make us laugh!
