Happy 17 months Kaleb!

I can't believe my little boy is 17 months old! He is growing up so fast and learning new things everyday! This past Sunday we took him to nursery to try and get him use to it and see if he would transition into it smoothly. Well, they ended up letting us leave him the whole time and Kaleb absolutely loved it and had no problem being without us! It was bittersweet since it was nice not having to fight with him all threw church, but I did miss him. When we went to pick him up he was so happy and excited about his time in nursery. They said he was great and would love to see him next week! Yeah! The only down fall is that we have Sacrament last and he was so excited that we had a hard time keeping him reverent. He enjoyed screaming and talking all threw Sacrament meeting hopefully the excitement will wear off as it just becomes the routine of church to go to nursery! We are so grateful that Kaleb is able to go to nursery a month early so that I can start enjoying my meetings more now and actually start getting something out of the lessons! We sure love having Kaleb in our lives and couldn't imagine our lives without him. He is such a loving boy and even when he is being a 1 yr old he still amazes me at how he will notice that I might be having a rough moment and climb up into my lap and just cuddle with me or give me kisses!

Some of the things Kaleb is doing right now:

• trying to jump which is the cutest thing to watch!
• says what a dog, cow, cat, fish(my favorite), horse, duck say!
• gives high 5's and pounds it a.k.a give knuckles!
• Folds his arms when we pray or randomly through the day!
• sleeping in his big boy bed for nap and bedtime
• loves singing songs especially the wheels on the bus and even does some of the actions with it.
• He loves reading books with us at bedtime!
• He still has his favorite blanket that he sleeps with or just carries around the house!
• He is trying to talk more! He still calls me Da and also calls grandma Da! he tries to say Stephen in fact he stands at the top of the stairs and yells down to Stephen! He is saying his B's a lot better we are working on getting him to use his words when he wants something.
• He went pee in the potty before his bath, we are going to keep trying to put him on it before bath time and see what happens! He has started taking showers and has been enjoying them!
• He is better about holding our hands when we need him too!
• Kaleb loves to give my belly kisses and raspberries! Not sure if he completely understands the concept of the baby yet!
• is very active boy and is developing such a great personality he still loves to dance he gets this look on his face when he hears music and then will start grooving! he loves to laugh!

We love you monkey so much and love having you in our family! You are such a sweet and busy boy!
