A Happy Halloween

Halloween was really fun this year with the boys, especially since I hadn't just had knee surgery 2 days before. Kaleb knew exactly what he wanted to be this year, Buzz lightyear, although his little brother is wanting to be more and more like him and wanted to be the same thing we tried talking Kaleb into being Woody because we thought Jacob is so stocky and shorter than Kaleb and Kaleb is tall and skinny like woody it would be fun. We failed so I talked Jakey into being Superman which turned out to be perfect for him. Tim decided to be Clark Kent and I got a shirt with the pregnant Skeleton (I am lame and blame pregnancy but we don't have a picture of all 4 of us so we might have to put our costumes on and take one.) We decided to start our Halloween off by getting pumpkins Saturday. The boys had so much fun picking their pumpkins and riding in the wheel barrels. At the end Jakey had a nice tumble and basically ate dirt, skinning his nose. Later that day Kaleb crashed on the scooter and scrapped his nose as well. Sunday our wonderful friends the Hunting's invited us over for homemade chicken noodle soup and pumpkin carving. Kaleb was interested at first, but then decided it was much more fun to play with the toys. Jacob helped a little but decided dad and mom knew what to do. I ended up ruining Kaleb's by cutting too much off but he still thought it was awesome. Tim went super easy on Jacob's after what happened to Kaleb's. It was still fun and so enjoyable to see how exciting it was for our boys!
Monday the weather could not have been more perfect the boys didn't even need jackets which is so good because I could barely fit a shirt under Jacob's costume it was so fitted. The boys loved trick or treating! Towards the end they were wanting to eat what they got so we wrapped things up and went to my cousin's house to trick or treat and let them see the boys and of course hold her new little boy! All in all it was a wonderful Halloween and love how fun holiday's are getting now that the boys get what is even going on!

I asked for a smile and this is what I got

Kaleb during pumpkin carving!
