Our Boys

So here are a couple funny things the boys have said:

Kaleb
So we were driving home from a birthday party and one of the girls had fallen and they thought she might have broken her collar bone. So we were trying to explain this to Kaleb so here is how the end of our conversation went.
K: so it is the hard thing
Me: Yes the bone is the hard thing
K: does is bleed when it breaks?
Me: no not usually, it just hurts alot.
Now the best response
Kaleb: Mom I don't know what I am talking about!!!

So it was really windy and looked like a storm was coming and Kaleb kept telling us we had to be careful because the storm could burn us. (he is referring to lightening since we had told how you have to be careful with lightening)

Jacob

So Jacob is starting to really talk and will repeat most words we ask him to say and does so pretty well. So tonight we were doing prayers with each boy and then family prayer. Well Kaleb said his and then it was Jacob's turn and he went, so it was then my turn for family prayer and this is what happened through my prayer

J: I pray
Me: Ok you pray with me
quiet for a second
J: I pray
Me: Ok, you pray (wait to let him pray nothing so I continue)
J: (louder) I pray
Me: Ok pray with me then
J: (louder and standing on his bed) I PRAY.
I finish up the prayer and Tim prays with him again only Jacob wants to keep praying for his uncle Paul and cousin Milo. Finally we tell him he already prayed for them and he finishes his prayer and is finally ready for bed. Gotta love the bedtime adventures!

We sure love our boys and the things they teach us everyday and the laughter the fills our home!
