A Much Needed Update...

Lets start with are wonderful Christmas we had. The boys were both so much fun this year. We got to go up north and spend it with my family. It was a little cramped in my mom's 2 bedroom duplex but it was so nice to be with family and let the kids play with their cousins. Kaleb asked Santa for 2 things a hoop and a skateboard(a Woody one of course), well Santa came through as well as some pads, a cabbage patch kid (he loved playing with cousin Alethia's baby so he know has his own that is a boy) He promptly named it BUG! Jacob got cars since he loves them as well as a cabbage patch for him so he wasn't left out! It was so fun and enjoyable to not got to crazy as much as I might have wanted to. Oh and Christmas Eve we did our family tradition of opening PJ's. Tim and I decided to get ourselves sweatsuits since neither of us wear PJ's to bed, The boys of course got Buzz and Woody Jammies since Kaleb is obsessed with Toy Story! Christmas Eve

Play Time with Daddy!

It snowed the day after Christmas! We have only had snow down here once and it melted by the afternoon!

So we had a pretty low key New Years, but glad to have a new year to look forward to! We had a month off of school and were back into the grind of school until I had my second surgery on my left knee. I had a harder time recovering so I have withdrawn from school for this semester, but Tim has only ONE more semester after this semester and then he will have his bachelors degree!!! We are both so excited! As for my surgery I am doing a ton better. I had issues with the anesthesia making me sick so I was in lots of pain the first few days since I couldn't keep anything down. Then it turned out they did stitches instead of staples and when they took the stitches out it was a very horrible feeling since it was a big long stitch through my leg knotted on both ends they cut one end and pulled it out the other end. Not fun! Then it ended up bleeding because some of the incision opened so they had to put me on antibiotics and my leg hurt a little more than normal. They also took out the screw out of my right knee. But March 3rd can't come fast enough so I can walk again! Tim has been a trooper and amazing juggling school and being mommy and daddy!
The boys are growing up so fast Kaleb is talking so much and loving to play pretend he also loves watching Backyardagains. He loves and hates his brother! They are so fun to watch play when they are getting along. Kaleb loves his sports of course it depends on the day what sport is his favorite. He loves to play with his daddy. Kaleb also loves to draw. Our Jacob is full on walking since his birthday! He tries to run with his brother. Jacob loves to give the best loves and he is still our chunky boy which I love, He wears all of the clothes Kaleb wore last year. Jacob loves his Alethia and babies, which he usually smothers with loves and his body! We sure love our boys!

Random pictures of Kaleb the last little bit

Random picture of Jacob!

Kaleb wanted to make a tent so they got creative and took advantage of the fact that I have crutches and used them to make the tent taller!
