When my sister Sarah had Alethia her best friend made her a hooter hider aka nursing sheild and a car seat cover. So when they came up here and I saw them I decided I would try and make one for a baby shower I was invited to. They were really easy to make although my mom did most the sewing because I do it so slow but they were still very simple to do it took us about two days to do them. So I am now going to do them for my bff's Raquelle and Jessica as soon as they find out what they are having. So here are my first attempts!
Car Seat Cover!

Added buttons for some extra detail!
my sisters had ribbon and a button
Just a close up of the material the strips are on the backside of the car seat cover
The hooter hider!
The neck has ribbing in it to allow you to see the baby!
My loving husband was my model!
Side view! The hooter hider is plenty big to cover all sides which is so nice when having to nurse in public!

jenny, i really need to just stop coming to your blog when you make these crafts because now im going to try to make the carseat cover! Too cute!!! And the hooter hider looks amazing, i like the size of it, because we all know those babies are private!!! How exactly did you make the carseat cover? Just add the straps at the top?
Great job sis! They look fabulous! :)

Nice Job Jenny! I am so impressed! And, I way excited for you to make one for me!! I love them... you need to teach me your skills of magic so I can make one for my sister, and I think I'll make one for Sally too!! Oh, and I am lovin' Tim as the Hooter Hider model too!! That's just plain hilarious!! LOL!!
