Oh man we did it again...

Things are crazy around here, but really wanted to write about finding out about our newest addition coming in June 2013.
It all started back in Aug I had my first period since getting pregnant with Sam and since I was not on birth control of any kind, since the hormones and my body don't mix well, but was also still nursing Sam but only about 3-4 times a day. Anyways so I tend to have irregular periods so they are hard to calculate my ovulation so Tim and I knew we wanted a 4th child but didn't want to get pregnant until the summer of 2013. So we were trying to be careful and I was trying to figure out any possible days to avoid. Well September came and went with no period which I have had happen before but to be safe a took a couple pregnancy tests they both came back negative. Well we were getting into October and still had not had a period to took another test it was faintly positive so I was not 100% sure if it was accurate. So I actually had a Drs appointment because in August we found out that I had Hypothyroid and had been working on getting the right dosage for that also another reason I wanted to wait on having another to get that under control and lose some weight. The Dr did a blood test and 2 days later called with the results that we were indeed pregnant!!! We were excited but nervous since we really wanted to wait a little longer. I honestly had an easier time accepting this pregnancy than i had when I got pregnant with our Sam. Maybe it is because I had already gone through the struggle of an unexpected pregnancy had could see that I am truly blessed to be able to get pregnant and delivery healthy children! I still had fears with this pregnancy because Tim doesn't finish his Masters until December and the craziness that comes with him working full-time and being in school full-time also having Sam and #4 closer than I had Kaleb and Jacob although it is only 2 months closer. I was also not too excited about being pregnant at a weight I was not happy at and to know I would be just getting bigger as the months went on. Anyways I decided I didn't want to tell everyone until we knew what we were having besides close family and a few friends. I am not sure why i wanted to wait besides making sure the baby was healthy and such. This pregnancy I also decided I wanted to not go to my same OB-GYN not because I didn't like her because she is amazing, but I really wanted to have no pain medicine with Sam but ended up with an epidural because I couldn't handle the pitocin(sp?) so I decided to go to our family Dr in hopes that I will be able to avoid the pitocin and have the natural birth I really want to experience. So it has been a new experience but great to since he does an ultrasound every time I go so I get to see our sweet baby grow! Well of course the due date they gave me was May 25th since according to my period that should have been my due date but I knew it would change at the 20 week ultrasound when we measured the baby. So January 8th I went in for my normal OB visit and we scheduled the big ultrasound for the following morning, but not before my Dr said that we should see if we could tell what it was I was more than happy to hear this, well so he looked and said he was 90% sure it was a girl I was even certain as I could clearly see the 3 lines and nothing else this being our 4th I definitely knew what boys looked like. I called Tim told him and was just in shock that we actually might be having a girl!! The next morning came and we were eager to get confirmation that it was indeed a girl, well the first shot the ultrasound tech says it looks like you will have a basketball team, we were shocked, but he was healthy and we talked on the way back that is exactly what we wanted was a healthy baby! Also at the ultrasound they changed my due date to June 9th.  It took me a few weeks to adjust to it not being a Girl not that I didn't want it to be a boy because yes it would have been wonderful to have a  change but I love these boys and love this boy. It was just hard to have gotten our hopes up for a girl and then not have it be real. I had a big test and had asked Tim to give me a blessing because I was so nervous about all the information I needed to remember, anyways I had been really wondering and praying as to why we were getting all these boys. In my blessing I received the answer and know that my Heavenly Father loves me and knows me and knows that these boys are a great blessing that I need in my life. I look forward to meeting this little boy!!! Know if we could just come up with a name we both agree on!!! I was hopeful that this would be my last pregnancy but I have a feeling we will have one more child but we won't make any decision until much later. I told Tim we are not allowed to even discuss wanting another child until we actually want to get pregnant since our last two pregnancies have happened days after talking about being almost ready for another. I am grateful I ma being blessed with so many wonderful/crazy boys and look forward to the adventures that lay ahead with a house full of boys!!! I know that it won't be easy but I hope that I can enjoy most everything!!

We are alive...

I have been really bad at blogging I need to be better since this is my type of journaling. Things have been crazy! We had Kaleb's birthday, had my sister visit for a month from California, Sammy's surgery, moved into a house we are renting, visited family in St George, I am still doing school, and Tim just started his Master's program at the U. I am trying to be better at managing my time so that I don't put the blog on the back burner.
Kaleb: He an I are so ready for school to start back up. He loves soccer, skateboarding, coloring and practicing writing his name and other letters. He still takes naps and am grateful he still does. He is starting to enjoy helping around the house with making his bed, setting the table and taking the trash out! He can ride his bike without training wheels and can also get going on his bike with no help!!! He is growing up too fast. He is also such a big help with Sam and loves him so much! He loves Jacob too but sometimes it is hard to tell.
Jacob: He loves to keep up with his brother! He is such a funny boy and keeps us on our toes. He is a very loving boy, but has a little bit of a temper that creeps out every once in awhile. He talks like crazy and is always saying something that makes us laugh. He is loved by many. When we move out of wards people are always sad to see him leave. (on a side note) one fast Sunday a lady was up bearing her testimony well sort of, he was calling people in the ward to repent and telling us her children were so quiet in sacrament and us mothers needed to do better. Our cute Jacob started walking up the isle, he turned around and I pointed at him and told him to come back, he looked right at me smiled and took of running and laughing all the way up and around the hole chapel until I caught him at the back. I was mortified. After thinking about once I got home I had to laugh at Jacob's timing. Later I was told that Jacob was inspired and that it was just what was needed. The tension in the room lifted when many saw that cite not run and laugh down the isle. Anyways Jacob is a big help when he wants to be. He is potty trained yeah! He was harder than Kaleb was to potty train, but it wasn't too bad. He is also much more mischievous than Kaleb, he makes us grateful to have insurance and I am sure we will get our money's worth with him. We can't imagine life with out him. He has such a big imagination and love the things he comes up with.
Samuel: he is the best baby ever! He sleeps great, hardly cries even then he sometimes still smiles. He is crawling and trying to pull himself to standing. He loves his brothers, daddy and dogs and of course he is very much a momma's boy! We also finally for sure got a baby with blue eyes!!! He looks so much like Tim! He truly is a blessing and am so grateful we were sent this little boy even though we weren't ready for him.
Tim: he is working hard for our little family and is doing the MSIS program at the U he will finish next December! He is enjoying running and loves taking care of our first garden! I am truly blessed to have such an amazing husband and father to my children.
Me: I am surviving! 3 boys is a lot of work but luckily they are pretty good kids!!! I am one semester closer to being done with school. I have 5 more general Ed classes to finish and them will be into my Early Childhood classes.

3 KIDS CHANGES EVERYTHING...

So this is a long over due update of what our family of 5 have been up to lately
We had a wonderful holiday season. The boys where lots of fun this year at Christmas and they got all they wanted from Santa which was a wiggly car and tools for Kaleb and Jacob wanted a wiggly car and a vacuum. We had a fun New Years kept it simple and had my mom and sister over to play games! Sent the boys to bed at there normal time but made sure to ring in the New Year early with them which included banging pots and pans! (the next day the nieghbors asked if we set our clocks forward since it was so early when we celebrated with the boys. They laughed when we explained!)

Tim:
He has been working hard at Hertz he is a assistant branch manager now and works 50+hrs a week. He has lost 20+ lbs since the first of the year and is enjoying running! He has turned in his application to the University of Utah for the Information Systems Masters program. he us currently studying to take his GMAT and attend in the Fall it is 3 semesters but he will spread it out to 4 and do a summer internship. I am so grateful for such an amazing and loving husband and father.

Me:
I am taking one day at time. Having 3 boys is a challenge and a great adventure! I wouldn't trade them for anything. I am still doing my school online I would much rather be in a classroom but it is just not feasible with were we are living and with 3 kids. I am enjoying running as well I am not fast but I will get there. My knees are doing really well which is a plus since I would be so mad if I went through those surgeries just to still not be able to do what I need and want physically. I am enjoying finding new recipes and trying them out thanks to Pinterest.

Kaleb:
Kaleb is loving school and is a very good student. He is going to start playing soccer this month which he is very excited about. He loves Sammy and is a big help with him as well. He is no longer a toddler that is for sure he is definitely becoming a little boy with a big personality sometimes I wonder where he gets it. He is very social (so not like I was or am). Kaleb is also finally in Sunbeams and loves it. He also loves to pray and we love hearing the things he prays about.

Jacob:
He is definitely 2 and doesn't let us forget it either. He is still our lovey boy and has a smile that brightens any day. He loves his big brother and little brother although sometimes he is a little feisty. He is our wild child! Things that work for Kaleb don't phase Jacob in the least. Jacob is talking like crazy and has a big personality as well. He loves to play with Kaleb, draw ans build with legos! He also loves to pray and Tim and I hardly get to say prayers anymore infact some nights at dinner we have 2 prayers since if it is not Jacob's turn he wont eat until he prays. He is very stubborn.

Samuel:
He is the best baby! I have truly been blessed with such an easy going little man and so happy. He is sleeping through the night. At 10ish days old he started sleeping 5-6hrs straight at night neither Kaleb or Jacob did that. He is a very happy boy and adores his big brothers. He loves watching them play and I fear when he realizes he can move it won't take long for him to chase after them. He weighs 13lbs 1 oz at his 4 month appointment. So he is our smallest boy so far. He is also my schedule boy, he put himeself on the same schedule as his brothers and likes to stick to it or he lets us know we are late getting him to nap or bed! He is such a joy to have in our family. He also has Blue eyes! (so maybe now I can be done having boys jk). I love having all these boys! They are truely heaven sent!

We are enjoying all these fun moment with 3 little boys! There are a huge amount of pictures that follow so enjoy seeing what we have been up to! Sorry they are not in order either! I will really try and be better about updating!
He is such a strong boy!
