I win again!

So we had our first ultrasound on July 5th, we were very excited to finally know what we would be having and what my due date would be. Well we found out the baby is doing great and that my due date is Nov 24th, and that it might be a boy or an umbilical cord. So we left with some great news, but still not knowing what we were really having. When I went to my monthly Dr appointment I asked if we could do another he said we could in a month or 2 so I thought well that is better than having to wait until delivery. Well it turned out we didn't have to wait that long as one of the girls I visit teach had a friend learning to become a ultrasound tech and was willing to practice on me so on the 25th she called and we ran over to hopefully really find out what we would be having. Well we are 99.9% sure we will be welcoming another BOY, we couldn't be happier! As for naming him not too excited about that we had such a hard time with Jacob. So he will probably be nameless until we see him! Kaleb is very excited for a baby bro and asks if Jakey can change and be a sister crazy boy! Kaleb has also given us his vote on what his name should be which is JaJi. We sure are looking forward to meeting the little guy! I will sure try and be better about blogging, but I am not sure how well I will do since I am starting to do finish my schooling online as of September 1st I am nervous, but also really want to get it done and behind me. Tim finished his Bachelors degree July 21st and is diligently seeking a career. We are so proud of him and very grateful for all his hard work.

Pictures...

So back in May we had the boys 3yr and 18ish month pictures done before they change so much. Since we don't do family pictures until the Fall usually. Anyways we had to find someone down South to do them for us since our favorite photographer lives up North. We ended up using our friends, friend. She did a great job! I asked for candid pictures of the boys since posing is rough to get done! Jacob was actually a better sport than Kaleb but we still got great shots of both. Thanks Tif Hafen! Here are our favorites: (the one above is a classic Jacob when it comes to suckers he will do just about anything for one)

We of course had to bring balls to help get pictures!

He has a great evil look!

Sure Love our boys!
Love this it shows true brotherly love!

I think he ate more than got blown!

The Jakey run!

Ready to catch!

Jacob's 18 Month Stats...

It is crazy Jacob is already 18 months it seems like just yesterday he was joining our family. Well he is sure growing fast and is just so lovable, we call him our lover boy. So here are his stats:

Weight: 32lbs - 97%
Height: 34 inches - 90%

So just so you have a comparison of how big a boy he is, Kaleb weighs 33lbs at 3yrs and Jacob is an inch taller than Kaleb was at 18 months, which isn't much, but he is still a very big boy. We sure love our Jakey boy. Here are some fun facts about Jacob:

  • He loves balls
  • He loves his big brother and loves pushing his buttons as well
  • He adores dog from a distance, but if they get too close he freaks out
  • He is just fine playing by himself, but also enjoys playing with other kids
  • He calls everyone mine except my mom and me
  • He growls sometimes when he doesn't like or want something
  • He is very loving and gives kisses freely and hugs
  • He adores babies especially his cousin Lincoln
  • He loves his cousin Milo and Alethia and his uncle Phil
  • He loves to blow raspberries on anyone's tummy ( not always at convenient times)
  • Words he knows: flip flop, basketball, basketball hoop, Moroni, Jesus, Mine, Hello, Bye, flower, what's that, uh oh, owww, dadda (never to Tim), Amen, love you, shoes and maybe some more
  • He loves to fold his arms and gets very mad if everyone isn't folding them when it is time for prayers
  • He says prayers (or at least tries) and is very good at saying Amen!
  • He's a natural fish in water
  • He still backs up to sit on your lap
  • He nods and shakes his head to let us know what he wants or doesn't want
  • He will pat where he wants you to sit or stand to do something for him
  • He loves reading the same book every night and has to have a certain blanket for bed it changes regularly
  • He will pucker his lips up when he wants a kiss ( it is the best thing ever)
  • He is right handed
  • He runs with his whole upper body ( Aunt Sarah hopes he never stops doing it!)
  • He will say "Five" over and over when Kaleb is in trouble and we are counting for him to stop.
Life just wouldn't be the same without our chubby lover boy! We love you Jacob!

A few blog posts...

I think I am almost up to date with the blog so you can finally see what we have been up to the last few months!

Splash Park

While we had everyone in town for graduation we took advantage of the wonderful 90* weather and hit the splash park with the kids. It was a little crazy since the Iron Man was going on at the same time, but we made due and the kids had a blast. We feel so blessed to live in such a beautiful place with the best weather!
B enjoying the water!
Jakey boy learned how to get all the girls around him by letting them use his bucket!

Kaleb enjoyed squirting his Uncle Stephen and daddy!

Alethia loved climbing and jumping!

Graduation and Mother's Day

May 6th was Dixie States Commencement, Tim got to walk he officially graduates July 22nd! We are so proud of him and all that he does for our little family he has really worked hard the last 4 1/2 years. We were able to fly Tim's mom out for the occasion and she got to stay for about a week it was nice to have her here and finally have her meet Jacob. My mom, Stephen, Robyn, and B were able to also come down and support Tim, which we really appreciate. Commencement was amazing since the honored guest speaker was President Monson. He did an amazing job and it was so incredible to have been able to be there to hear him.

Mother's Day was great and simple! In sacrament My mom, sister Sarah and I had the opportunity to do the musical number. It was simple, but so nice to sing with them since it has been forever. We again had dinner at Grandma Alice's which was very yummy and had fun hanging out for a while.

Easter...I know it was forever ago

Sure love my boys!
We had a fun Easter, both boys were lots of fun. We started the festivities off by going over to the college the the Easter egg hunt they put on, well it was fun but crazy Kaleb got 3 eggs, Jacob got 2 eggs, and Alethia got 3 eggs. After that one we decided they would have more fun just doing one our selves so I got the stuff and Saturday afternoon we had one in our good friends the Evans backyard with my sister's family. The kids had tons of fun and got plenty of eggs. We will just do our own for sure all the years to come. Sunday we went to church and then Gma Alice had us and my sister's family over for dinner. It was delicious as always and great conversation. Then I died eggs with the kids and then let them decorate them I forgot to take a picture but it was a fun day. We are so grateful for Our Savior.

From our own egg hunt!
