A Little this a Little that...

I know I said I was going to be better about keeping up to date on what we are up to, but between Tim starting summer semester, Kaleb getting a flu bug, and Jacob getting a mild case of ecoli there hasn't been time. Anyways, here is what we have been up to for the most part and I have more picture and videos to come....
The last weekend of May my mom came down here for her Pre-Op appointment for her 1st knee replacement surgery. So I decided to drive back with her and spend the next 9 days in SLC until she had to come back down for her surgery. So while in SLC we got to help my mom clean out her classroom, play with friends and cousins, had Jakey’s 6 month check up, Kaleb got to help Aunt Robyn plant flowers and water them daily as well as her car and anything else in sight. We got the boys pictures taken by our FAVORITE photographer and can’t wait to see them all edited, we took flowers to all the graves, visited This is The Place Monument where we ate at the old hotel which my uncle Alan cooks for, and enjoyed Milo’s baseball games and played a lot at the park! It was a fun and exhausting week, but it was so nice to come back home to Tim and my bed. Here are the million pictures I took while there! Sorry it is soo many; I just couldn't decide! Sorry also they are not in any order blogger was driving me crazy trying to get them in order so I stopped. Enjoy!
My mom gave Kaleb some army men and he was having trouble carrying them all so I told him to put them in is hat and carry them that way. Well, he ended up putting them in his hat and then his hat on his head. He is such a funny kid!

What a stud!

Look who is on the MOVE...

So Thursday night after a long drive up to SLC Jakey boy decided to army crawl to a ball and to Kim's toes. He hasn't exactly figured that he can now get where ever he wants but he has figured he can get to any toy within close proximity. He loves to go for any ball or any available toes so he can chew on them. Lets just hope it takes a long while before he tries and WALKS!

We are ALIVE and Enjoying the wonderful Sunshine...

We finally got Internet back last week, but I have procrastinating updating the blog. I have been awful at remembering my camera when we go do stuff, but Tim's phone has lots of pictures that I'll have to take off later. We LOVE our new place! We were a little nervous since we had never been in one or seen it. Luckily, we had Sarah and My grandma who came and helped get things going for us, especially my grandma who would come over to the complex when we couldn't get a hold of anyone. Anyways, we are so glad that we decided on this place! It is a townhouse and has 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths It is nice having so many bathrooms, but it was nice only having one toilet to have to clean but that is my only complaint! I will try and take some pictures soon! We have had lots of fun exploring St. George and some of the things we have done are: walked to the temple (whenever Kaleb sees it now he says "my bemple"). Kaleb loved the visitors center with all the pictures of Jesus and the cute little houses they have. We have hiked around Dixie rock, gone swimming a lot, gone to the splash park, played at the basketball hoops, enjoyed playing with all the kids that live right around us, and we also just went up to Zion with my grandma on Monday. I did take my camera, but of course the battery died.

This is the best I could do with Kaleb actually looking at the camera!

Some new things for us since moving down here are: we have decided to also change our eating habits and eat a lot healthier than we have been. So we said good bye to pop and some other things we had a little too regularly and said hello to more fruits, veggies and other healthy foods and on top of that I have been going to the gym 5 days a week! I started going to the Zumba class at the gym at the great advice of my sister Sarah. I love it! It is so much fun, a great workout, and the hour flies by. Next I am going to start doing a weight class as well. Here is to a smaller healthier Tim and Jenny! Some other good news is we found out Tim will be able to graduate next summer since he will have enough credits! So glad for that! I am also going to go back to school for Fall semester I am going to just take a couple of classes, but I really want to finish a degree so I have decided to get one in Early Childhood so one day I can maybe have a preschool in my home!

WE do miss all our family, Kaleb asks just about every day where everyone is by name, I don't think he completely understands that we live a long drive away! Our Jakey boy is trying so hard to crawl he gets up on his knees and just rocks. (check out the video below) He is also sitting up so well on his own. Kaleb is starting to play a lot more with Jakey and it is the sweetest thing in the whole world to watch them!
Jacob LOVES being on his belly!
Our big BOY! He is also our spit up baby!

I will try and keep updated from now on of what we are up to! As for the next week and a half, we are headed up to SLC!

3 Posts in 1 Day!

Scroll down to see what we have been up to lately.....

Kaleb's Party!

Saturday we had Kaleb's 2nd Birthday party with his friends and family. We were lucky enough to get great weather and held it at the park! It was such a fun and nice day! WE decided to get a little ambitious this year and make Kaleb's cake since he loves balls I thought how hard could it be to make a few ball cakes. Well I am not sure we will ever try and do 3 cakes ever again. I am so lucky to have a husband who has some cake decorating skills other wise they would not have turned out like they did! I think the hardest part was getting the frosting to be the right consistency, but all because of Tim who did all the frosting they were a huge hit with Kaleb and all the party goers! Thanks to everyone who came it was so fun!

Easter Weekend!

We had a very fun Easter weekend! Saturday we started it off with a egg hunt at the elementary next to my mom's place. Kaleb had fun he didn't however like the Easter bunny so I had to sit with him to get a picture. We then went out to Wheeler Farm with Kim(sister) and Milo (nephew). They had activities going on all day, but by the time we got there they had run out of eggs but it was still fun. We got to see all the animals and take a tractor ride they even had a special scales and reptiles exhibit which was very cool! Then Sunday we went out to my aunt Michelle's for Easter dinner and a Easter egg hunt for Kaleb! It was lots of fun with Kaleb this year he was so funny with getting the eggs we had to do most of it since he would just pick up the eggs that were balls! Can you tell he was not happy about being that close the the Easter Bunny!Wheeler FarmMilo holding the Snake
