September and October

September:
we had a fun September having a great Allred Family Reunion at Zion Ponderosa. That is what the few pictures are from I have more but they are on our other computer. The rest of September we did lots of school, celebrated my 26Th Birthday, had Tim's older brother move out here from Chicago area, enjoyed the wonderful weather with playing at the park , pool, and splash pad.

OCTOBER:

Well October was exciting, we survived it though! Tim had his tonsils out the 13th everything went well he felt great the first 2 days and day 3 he was miserable so he spent the next 3 laying on the couch recouping. Then realized he could not function on the percaset(sp?) so he called and got approval to just take Tylenol which helped his head from spinning all the time. We survived that ordeal and another month of school. The boys had so much fun trick or treating! Jakey loved pulling out the suckers out of his or cousin Alethia's bucket, Kaleb loved running to each door! We didn't do too much trick or treating only because it was so hard having me in the wheelchair. Never again will we say yes to having me have surgery the day before trick or treating. We have survived and had a fabulous month. Now on to November!

We started the month off with a new nephew, Lincoln who came a little early!

We got to have Milo, Kim and Grandma JuJu come visit for the weekend!

Kaleb loves his cousin Milo

We went to Staheli Farms to pick our pumpkins

Staheli Farms

Funny story about the train ride Kaleb is always wearing this hat that Milo gave him the ride was so bumpy by the time he came back he could barely see since the hat had fallen but he couldn't fix it because he was holding on for dear life!

Found his pumpkin!

He wouldn't look at us!

Decorating cookies! He loved eating the frosting!

This is Jakey after trick or treating

It's Official....

So it's official as of Friday, October 29th I will be going under the knife. I have what they call Tibial Tubercle Transfer (TTT) done on my right knee I am also having it scoped. Basically they will break the tibial tuberosity bone and move it to where it should be. I will be on crutches for 30 days and then after I recover from my right knee I will have the same thing done on my left knee. So it should be an interesting next few months! I will have my pre-op appointment on Tuesday and will know more about what to expect then.
Maybe I will have the time to update this blog, which we have been up to a lot in the last month and half. Some of what has been going on here:
  • Allred Family Reunion
  • Swimming
  • School (lots of it)
  • Family Pictures
  • Tim's tonsillectomy
  • Pumpkin Patch
  • New Nephew
  • Just enjoying the great weather!

I will try and get all the pictures downloaded up on here so you can all enjoy them since the boys especially our Jakey boy is growing up fast!

I got this from my sister's blog.

How it works:
1. Mention the site DiamondEarrings.org on twitter, facebook, myspace or your own blog.
2. Go to DiamondEarrings.org and click on "Order Now" on the top right of the page.
3. Fill out the required information and pay for shipping, only $3.77
4. Wait for your earring to arrive.

I just ordered mine and I'll let you know when they arrive!

Our Cute Boys!

KALEB

Since Kaleb has conquered his bike , he has moved on to conquering the scooter. Ever since the neighbor kids have been riding theirs Kaleb has wanted to try to do it but I was not sure he would be able to do it. Well one of the times visiting Gma JuJu uncle Stephen had one so Kaleb began to do it with Stephens help and then this last time we went up he did awesome so Aunt Kim gave Kaleb Milo's old scooter so now just about every day Kaleb is riding it all over the house and outside! Sorry it is so bouncing but I was walking and it is only my camera video recorder.

JACOB

So this is video from when I went up north in June. I was trying to hold Jakey off from nursing so Robyn was playing with him and then Her little man Braxton was jealous so she had both boys. Well this is what happens when Jacob is dying to nurse! I am sorry for all the laughing but we couldn't help it! This went on for about 10 mins before we even started recording it. Enjoy!

A Much Needed Update...

Well it was a busy and fun July. Tim finished his summer semester got sick the week of finals with some bacterial thing he ran a fever for about a week, but he passed all his classes and now only has 3 semesters left!!! Jacob ended up getting thrush which we are now just barely getting all the way cleared up. I ended up weening Jacob early so it was both painful and hard since he loved it, but he is such a big boy it was getting very hard and I was just done.

We got to spend lots of time with Family and cousins. There are a ton of pictures but it is a whole month worth. We started our fun off with the 4Th of July up on Bountiful with BBQ's and some great fireworks which Kaleb only liked the ones far away not the ones we did with friends that made loud noises, as for Jakey boy he slept and when he was awake he loved them. After we got back home we got to have Sarah and Alethia spend a few days with us so we got to go up to our friends who have lambs Kaleb was not so sure of them but Alethia had no fear and Kaleb decided he could be brave a pet them too. We also spent time at the pool and at the splash park.

Jakey loves water he has no fear!

Love his smile

At the Splash Park

Jakey's favorite place to crawl on!

At the end of the month we went up again to Bountiful for the 24Th of July and spent a whole week with everyone since time had finished up his Summer semester! To start it off we left Thursday night and got there about 12:30 we got the boys in bed and I headed to go sit with Sarah who was saving our seats for the parade the next night. We got ZERO sleep all night but had a great time talking. We ended up getting about a 3 hour nap, but it was well worth it to have good seats and the kids having fun.

Kaleb lounging!

Braxton crashed after the firetrucks and police!

Sarah, Alethia & Stephen

Jacob worn out from the cabin

And Kaleb too!

One of the days we were up north we helped my mom with her classroom and we turned around to find Jacob crawling through her big bookcase!

Another view!

Kaleb trying out Braxton's Jumper!

We also went to This is The Place again and did a little more with the kids. They loved petting all the animals and climbing all over the train!

Milo, Kaleb & Alethia

Sarah was nice enough to let Kaleb sleep with her and Alethia while we stayed with my mom!

All we hear about some days with Kaleb is that he wants to ride a HORSE well he finally got to do it. I was a little worried he was going to be scared of the horse since they are so big and he was scared of the lambs, But he surprised us all and loved the horse his cousin Milo was more cautious then he was. Thanks to Robyn's Mother in-law who owns the horse Kaleb had the best time ever.

He even let Jacob ride!

Milo and Kaleb

Jakey's favorite place to climb at Grandmas. Her cable box ended up going out shortly after this picture we are not sure if it was his drool or just it's time!

Tuckered out from playing at the pool!

Jacob loved the step in front of my moms house

I just love this picture of Jakey boy trying to get the rocks from the crack !

The cabin pictures are our of order but we went up to Grandma Allred's cabin for the evening the kids had so much fun in the water letting the boats float under the bridge. We also got to do there hand prints up in the new storage shed that was an event!

There where 2 wet bums after the water!

Alethia loved eating the rocks!

Kaleb challenged daddy at Foosball!

WE had so much fun but it was nice to come home to our beds! Oh yes one other story we had a big breakfast together as a family on the 24Th and we had Jacob and Braxton on a blanket together and had given them both a half of a pancake well our sweet Jakey boy downed his and Braxton who is 2 months older was slowly eating his so Jacob decided to just show Braxton how to eat the pancake by stealing it and shoveling it in his mouth poor Braxton wasn't sure what happened. Don't worry Braxton got him back later in our trip!
I will try and be better but I am not sure how well I will do since I am going back to school starting the 23rd I am going to work on getting my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood!
