The Boys Stats...

We had Jacob's 4 month check up and Kaleb's 2 yr check up today so here are there stats:

Jakey Boy:

Weight: 16lbs 7 oz (70%)

Height: 26 inches (80%)

Head: is the 15%

Kaleb:

Weight: 28 lbs (15%)

Height: 37 inches (97%)

Head: in the 15%

Jakey boy is our football player he is so chunky I just love it! Kaleb is tall and skinny! Dr says we can now put Kaleb in a booster seat Yea! It is sad he is growing up so fast! Jacob can now start eating more which we kinda already started since milk just wasn't enough for him! We sure love our boys and couldn't imagine our life without them!

Happy 2nd Birthday Kaleb!!!!

I can't believe that Kaleb has been with us for TWO years now! It amazes me how much he has grown and all things he has learned in the last two years. Kaleb is our ball loving boy he can't go anywhere with out some kind of ball and loves to wear something with a ball on it. He also loves to watch anything with a ball so movies or any sports game! He also LOVES his brother so much the first thing every morning he asks where his Jakey is and then where Daddy is, who he loves so much too! Our monkey is also our very sensitive boy like his mommy was and is, when he gets in trouble or knows we are upset with him he gets huge crocodile tears it sure makes it hard to discipline. He is becoming so independent wanting to do things his way or eat what he wants I can say for sure I am not completely ready for this it definitely means he is growing up!We are so grateful to have Kaleb in our family it just wouldn't be the same with out him. We love you so much Kaleb and can't get enough of that wonderful smile!

A Fun Filled Week & Weekend...

This past week we had the opportunity to have Sarah and Alethia come up and spend a few days with us it was so fun having them here. We took all the kids for a walk one day I forgot to take a picture but I pushed Kaleb and Alethia, Sarah pushed Jacob and Robyn pushed Braxton it was lots of fun to have them here since we don't get to see them all the time!

No I didn't trade Jacob for a girl I forgot to bring Jammies to Grandma's, so Sarah shared Alethia's with us and we finished it off with her bow! So sad that Jacob fits in her jammies she is only 10 months older!

We had a very fun weekend it all started on Friday when Tim and I had the privilege to go out on a date. He decided to take me dancing since we haven't really danced since our wedding. So mom was so nice to watch the boys while we went. We had tons of fun but realized we need to take some lessons to get better so we left early and went and did a little shopping without kids lame I know but it was wonderful! SO Kaleb ended up passing out 10 mins after we left and Jakey boy ended up crying for over an hour so Kim ( my sister) ended up coming and getting him and he calmed done and was fine, but he refused to sleep the whole time we were gone. Thanks so much Mom and Kim for letting us go out it was wonderful!

Saturday the boys and I spent the day with my dads side of the family. We started off by having breakfast at Cracker Barrel and then we headed to the Living Aquarium. Kaleb had so much fun looking at all the fish and other creatures of the water the only thing he did not like was the Jelly fish he was not liking the looks of them he quickly moved on. He is so funny the things he is frightened of I would of thought he would not like the huge octopus or the touching pond with the sting rays! Thanks to Jay and Brad (my cousins boys) who followed Kaleb around I got to enjoy the aquarium at my own pace. Jakey boy slept for most of it and flirted with whoever was holding him. It was lots of fun and hope we can go again when Tim can come. After the aquarium we did a little shopping and then ended our time together at In and Out Burger where Tim joined us! Thanks so much for the very fun day Michelle, Shaunna and Dad!

Sunday we got together again with My dads side for dinner and games and since it was so nice we ended up playing outside for a little bit. I am so glad SPRING is coming I love it so much!

So I was trying to have Kaleb take Jacob down the slide, well Jacob spit up and Kaleb couldn't get him off his lap fast enough he then proceeded to go down the slide right threw the spit up! Poor Robyn trying to save Jakey boy!

Some Moments With Kaleb...

Wow I can't believe our Kaleb will be 2 in less than a month! It seems like just yesterday we were in the hospital waiting eagerly to meet him! I will wait to do a birthday post until next month! But for now I just wanted to post some cute and funny things Kaleb has done lately!

So I seem to get horrible break outs after having boys and I had this zit on my lip and Kaleb kept putting his hands on my face and I couldn't figure out what he was trying to do until I stopped moving my head and he then took his pointer fingers and tried to POP my zit! I laughed so hard as did everyone else. It is amazing what he picks up from just watching us. Another cute story, I had just fed Jakey boy and had him on my shoulder well he had spit up and I hadn't noticed, so my Kaleb went and got a burp cloth and then came and started wiping it off my shoulder and then the floor! It made my day! He is always wanting to help clean things up! He is such a loving boy and so protective of his brother and his cousin B. Just last Sunday at church, the family behind us were talking to Jacob, so we asked if they wanted to hold him and of course they did and Kaleb hadn't seen the pass off happen and finally noticed I didn't have Jacob so he asked where he went and I showed him, well that was not okay with Kaleb he didn't know the family and wasn't ok with them holding his brother. So after a few minutes of Kaleb trying to get his brother we had to take Jakey boy back! Anyways he is such a great big brother! WE love our Kaleb who is so obsessed with balls and the Wii! The funniest thing he goes around saying right now is Oh Mario! Such a funny kid!

Every once in a while he will sit on the potty but has only gone pee of few times on it! One Day!

Lately we have to play Peek a Boo to get Kaleb to let us take his picture!

I have been very bad about updating but in my defense we have all been sick. I will try this coming week to get back to blogging but for now I just had to upload this video of our boys talking it is mainly Kaleb talking but there is a little of our Jakey boy talking specially in the background when I talk to Kaleb. Just ignore Kalebs messy face! I know this is super long but I hope you enjoy!

*A little help with some of my conversation with Kaleb a couple weeks ago Real Salt Lake soccer came to my mom's school with their trophy so I took the boys over for the assembly since Kaleb loves anything to do with a ball! Anyways the mascot is a lion so that is what he is telling me about!
